Welcome to the Claire's Lace website. We suppy a wide range of lace making materials and tools. We have one of the widest range of lacemaking threads available, as well as bobbins, pins, tools, mounts, materials, and lots more. You can download our pricelist of lace making materials, and order in the usual way by post, e-mail or phone. Alternatively, you can now order on-line in our webshop. For UK orders under £75 you can pay directly by Paypal - you don't need to have a Paypal account to do this. For any order, you can place the order on-line, and then let us contact you to arrange payment. We can take credit/debit card payments over the phone. Even if you would rather order on the phone, you can use the webshop to look at pictures of many items in our range of lace making supplies. You may be interested in some of the new items that we have added recently. We now stock Colcotton 70/2 in addition to the 34/2. Colcotton comes in an excellent range of colours, and the 70/2 is similar to DMC Broder Machine 30. After a long absence we now have Duchess pins in stock. These are the original small headed pins, which are 17 x 0.45mm. The popular thread Filato di Cantu has not been available for some time. Coats Cometa (Anchor Lace) is being supplied as a replace, but please note that it is not exactly the same thickness as Filato. Please call if you are uncertain which thread to use. Look under threads->cotton on the webshop. We are now selling acid free tissue paper in packs of five sheets. Also, we have a wide selection of coloured copper wire in 0.2 and 0.3mm thicknesses. We now have our own Claire's Lace Starter Kit. This contains everything you need to start out in Lacemaking. You can buy it with or without a Beginner's Lacemaking book. The kit comprises a pillow, bobbins, beads and wire for spangling, thread, pricking card, bees wax, pricker and pins.
